Whether you have pennies or pounds; no matter how little you have to spend on gifts, you can always give something unique to everyone on your list you just need to put in a bit of effort and creativity. Here are just a few ideas that will help you not only put together a unique gift and something special for everyone on your list that will also save you some money!

You can give pictures, make your own gifts, or even spend an extra bit of time in the kitchen to come up with something special for everyone.

Family Pictures

One creative and memorable gift that can be given at Christmas is a family picture. When the kids were small and I think their first Christmas we went and got some professional photographs done in a photography studio.

Now these are NOT cheap and will NOT save you money but there is absolutely nothing wrong with doing it yourself! Think about unique ideas for the picture too – consider a collage of different snap shots from the year, or a cute picture of your kids. We do exactly that every single year in the form of a photo calendar for grandparents and great grandparents aswell as

If you do decide to take your own family pictures, be sure to learn how to use the delay setting on your camera. This will enable everyone to get into the picture. Think about different options such as black and white, different angles and your background & get creative!

Once you have taken the pictures, you can either choose an online developer, or you can purchase photo paper and print the pictures yourself if you have a color printer. ÷
