Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to surprise your little ones or in my case now – your young adult “children” with a special treat, and what better way to do that than with a personalized Valentine’s Snackle Box? This fun, festive, and easy-to-make snack box is a great way to show your love while giving your kids a variety of delicious goodies to enjoy!

I made these for my adult children and their spouses/significant others! I also printed out an adorable picture of each couple from our Christmas trip (Shop at Shutterfly) and put it in a frame. P.S. Sorry to Eli as he left his snacklebox at home and I may have to refill the candy! You know mom loves the Reese’s! 🙂

What is a Snackle Box?

A snackle box is a fun twist on a traditional tackle box, but instead of fishing gear, it’s filled with an assortment of snacks! It’s a creative and organized way to serve up a mix of sweet and savory treats that will have your kids smiling from ear to ear.

How to Make a Valentine’s Snackle Box

Creating a Valentine’s Snackle Box is super simple and can be customized to fit your child’s favorite snacks. Here’s how to put one together:

What You’ll Need:

  • A plastic organizer or tackle box with multiple compartments (I found some really cute ones in store at Target but Amazon has a huge variety of sizes on their website!
  • Valentine’s-themed treats and snacks
  • Stickers, labels, or washi tape for decoration
  • A fun Valentine’s Day note or card

Snack Ideas to Include:

  • Sweet Treats: Heart-shaped gummies, conversation hearts, chocolate-covered pretzels, mini marshmallows, Hershey’s Kisses, M&M’s, or Valentine’s-themed cookies.
  • Healthy Snacks: Strawberries, raspberries, yogurt-covered raisins, heart-shaped fruit snacks, or trail mix with dried fruit.
  • Savory Options: Mini cheese crackers, popcorn, goldfish crackers, pretzels, or nuts (if there are no allergies).
  • A Fun Surprise: A small Valentine’s toy, stickers, or a cute handwritten note to make it extra special!

Amazon has a lot of great deals on candy and other small fun surprises in their Valentine’s Day Store.

How to Assemble Your Snackle Box:

  1. Choose Your Box: Find a plastic organizer with compartments. Tackle boxes, craft storage boxes, or even a lunchbox with dividers work great.
  2. Fill with Snacks: Arrange your chosen snacks in each compartment, keeping a balance of sweet, savory, and healthy options.
  3. Decorate the Box: Add Valentine’s stickers, washi tape, or labels to make it festive and fun.
  4. Include a Note: Write a heartfelt Valentine’s message and place it inside the box to make it even more special.
  5. Seal and Gift! Close the box and surprise your kids with their Valentine’s treat!

Why Your Kids Will Love It

  • It’s a fun and creative way to enjoy their favorite snacks.
  • It feels like a special personalized treat just for them.
